Mr. Meyer’s was born from a conversation between two friends on a road trip to Nashville in the fall of 2023. What started as a shared appreciation for New Orleans Jazz Fest, warm and intimate music clubs, and the art of a good hang evolved into a bigger question: What kind of place could we create for St. Louis? The answer became a vision for a thoughtfully curated home for local musicians and a new kind of nightlife destination—one rooted in discovery, community, and moving culture forward.

At the heart of Mr. Meyer’s is the House Band—a 30-piece collective of some of St. Louis’ most talented musicians, reimagined nightly into new ensembles and collaborations. No two performances are the same. As the evening unfolds, live music gives way to Late Night Vinyl, where thoughtfully curated record selections by the city’s top DJ’s playing rare vinyl sets.

The lounge is named in honor of Jack Meyer, a friend who believed deeply in the power of music to bring people together. That spirit continues to shape every decision we make—from the artists we feature to the atmosphere we create.

Mr. Meyer’s exists to celebrate the incredible musicians who call St. Louis home and to offer a different kind of night out—one built on discovery, connection, and leaving just enough room for the unexpected.
